Lead Urban Planner for the Saudi General Directorate of Municipal Projects (GDMP). The GDMP is a new national governmental business unit, being established by AECOM on behalf of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs. The GDMP will serve as the head office for planning and delivery of municipal projects nationwide. The lead Urban Planner will establish a 5-year, financially constrained national projects plan, in collaboration with the 17 Amanat government plans. This will include driving consensus on the evaluation criteria for prioritizing projects. Also, will serve as the GDMP authority on urban planning matters, assisting in the development of national policies, procedures and standards.
