Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving successful project outcomes.
Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential bottlenecks
Analyze resource requirements and optimize allocation to ensure project efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and define scope
Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed
Prepare and present detailed project reports, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Conduct cost estimations and budget forecasting for various project phases
Implement and maintain project management tools and methodologies
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate project status effectively
Continuously improve planning processes and methodologies to enhance overall project performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in planning engineering or project management
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
In-depth knowledge of planning techniques, risk management, and resource optimization
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to project planning
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is a plus
