Job Description

Job Summary

As Health and Wellbeing Manager – the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of innovative, effective and efficient approaches to improving the overall health and wellbeing (physical and mental) of AECOM MEA staff. This will require engaging with employees at all levels and working directly with senior management teams and projects. The candidate will take the lead in successfully implementing and delivering specific projects and creating workstreams around health and wellbeing at work. The candidate will ensure the development, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement of AECOM MEA’s health and wellbeing strategy.

Job Duties

Responsible for overall MEA Health and Wellbeing strategy in both development and implementation. This may encompass individualized focus areas as well as establishing and implementation of MEA wide initiatives. Liaise with AECOM regional and global stakeholders affiliated with components required to deliver a well-rounded and impactful employee Health and Wellbeing program. Work closely with Marketing and Communications to develop bespoke content for the region with regards to Health and Wellbeing. Identify innovative health and wellbeing practices, while implementing established policies, procedures, standards, and excellent support practices within individualized and personalized services. Create, implement and provide structure to the MEA Health and Wellbeing Ambassador program. Provide support and assistance to the Health and Wellbeing Ambassador(s) and Regional Mental Health Allies to ensure that the service provides positive engagement and outcomes for all AECOM MEA employees. Ensure excellence in innovative and creative practice to ensure that the things that are important to the people we work for achieves the aims and objectives across the services in accordance with the AECOM’s Life Preserving Principles with the culture of caring for our people. Ensure that the people we work with have input to outcome focused support services to improve health and wellbeing and develop resilience within the employee population. Ensure that practical support and emotional care services for employees are easily accessible and properly communicated while ensuring that the confidentiality of personnel is strictly adhered to. Meet with senior management on a regular basis, communicate areas of concerns and report on the statistics and performance, innovation, and quality outcomes of Health and Wellbeing initiatives. The candidate will carry out their duties in line with AECOM’s Core Values and their terms and conditions of employment, while presenting in a way that is in line with company’s Codes and Conduct. As the role develops, job duties may expand and evolve as needed to benefit the delivery of a bespoke comprehensive Health and Wellbeing strategy.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

Must have a minimum of 4-year university degree and must have been earned from a recognized and accredited university. Must have experience in developing, implementing, promoting, and evaluating a contemporary health and wellbeing program along with strategy development for a large complex organization.
