Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking interested and qualified candidates for the Integrated Base Defense – Sustainment Support (IBD-SS) program. Product Manager Force Protection Systems (PdM FPS) and PdM Counter Explosive Hazard (CEH) have requirements for comprehensive training, contractor logistics, operator, and sustainment support services, to include material procurement, for equipment and capabilities in the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States. These positions are contingent upon successful award of the IBD-SS program.

Description:

The Production Planner 3 is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operation resources and effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies. Schedules work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations. Develops work packages and instructions to support work activities including pre-planning, material staging requisitioning/expediting, labor estimating, and all other field support as required. Monitors assignments to ensure that they are within the agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed within outlined policies and expectations. Coordinates timely development and release of work packages, task requests, and work orders to support the master schedule. Reviews and analyzes delays in schedule, expedites any work activities requiring work packages that delay schedules, and coordinates schedule changes needed to encompass unforeseen conditions. Ensures work orders are in compliance with project directive documents, assists in the determination of work priority, and establishes workflow processes that support work management and operations goals. Periodically reviews work performed for attainment or obtainment of objectives, policy compliance and priorities, effective coordination, technical adequacy and responsiveness to established guidelines. Integrates efficient operations that are in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and governmental regulations. Ensures all safety and environmental guidelines are followed without deviation. Develops detailed schedules, material requirement lists, and production plans for complex operations and/or production processes where the processes are new and/or variable. Reviews engineering plans and product specifications to determine raw material requirements to support operations schedules. Works with Purchasing to obtain and schedule materials based upon production forecasts. Works with Engineering and related design areas to develop tools and procedures to maximize facility and equipment utilization. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience and 5+ years of production planning experience, including a thorough knowledge of a variety of operating activities, such as purchasing, materials, production processes and engineering

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
