Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and contracts for large-scale infrastructure project across the region.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects

  • Develop and implement cost control systems to monitor project expenditures

  • Analyze and report on project costs, including forecasting and variance analysis

  • Manage the procurement process, including tender documentation and evaluation

  • Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers

  • Prepare and analyze bill of quantities for infrastructure projects

  • Conduct value engineering studies to optimize project costs

  • Resolve contractual disputes and claims

  • Provide expert advice on construction costs and contractual matters to project teams

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success

  • Stay updated on local construction regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

  • Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects

  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway)

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes

  • Experience in cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration

  • Familiarity with local and international construction standards and regulations

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

  • Willingness to travel within the UAE and potentially to other countries in the region
