Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction projects, you will play a crucial role in managing costs, preparing contracts, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop comprehensive cost plans and estimates for construction projects

  • Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documents

  • Review and negotiate change orders and final accounts

  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors' cost engineers

  • Attend project meetings and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders

  • Monitor project costs and forecast potential financial risks

  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender submissions

  • Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and standards

  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve cost-related issues

  • Perform site visits to assess progress and validate quantity measurements

Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost consultation within the building and construction industry

  • Proficiency in methods of measurement, codes of valuation, and bill of quantity works

  • Strong knowledge of quantities pricing software and drawing measurement software

  • Chartered Cost Engineer certification or equivalent professional qualifications

  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in Dubai

  • Experience with international construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC)

  • Excellent mathematical and financial analysis skills

  • Proficiency in construction-specific software such as CostX and Autodesk Navisworks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Willingness to work on various construction sites across Dubai as required
