Job Description

We are seeking experienced Irrigation Inspectors to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Irrigation Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of irrigation systems in various projects throughout the region.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of irrigation systems to ensure compliance with contract specifications and local regulations

  • Monitor contractor activities and maintain detailed records of daily resources, including personnel and equipment

  • Perform site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)

  • Liaise with contractors to ensure proper resource management, health and safety compliance, and equipment utilization on-site

  • Review and familiarize yourself with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and safety measures

  • Prepare comprehensive daily reports for the RE or ARE, including work orders, material deliveries, and inspection programs

  • Implement and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures on-site

  • Conduct site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels as required

  • Coordinate with client project managers during site inspections, in collaboration with the RE or ARE

  • Assist in resolving site issues promptly and efficiently

  • Monitor the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, maintaining records of project milestones

  • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor-submitted plans

  • Stay updated on the latest irrigation technologies and best practices in the field

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in irrigation inspection or related projects

  • Proven experience in construction supervision, particularly in irrigation systems

  • In-depth knowledge of irrigation systems, technologies, and local regulations in the UAE

  • Strong familiarity with project contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications

  • Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance procedures

  • Excellent site measurement and surveying skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Proficiency in relevant software for reporting and documentation

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Technical degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field

  • Middle East experience preferred

  • Ability to work legally in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
