Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager- Storm Water to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our engineering department, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of storm water projects across the region.

  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of complex storm water management systems

  • Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses using advanced modeling software

  • Develop and review technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawings

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians on storm water projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory agencies

  • Ensure compliance with local and international storm water regulations and best practices

  • Implement sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS) and innovative storm water solutions

  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and stakeholders

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in storm water management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required

  • Certified Professional in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ) certification preferred

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in storm water engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects

  • Advanced knowledge of storm water management systems and best practices

  • Proficiency in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software

  • Expertise in AutoCAD and GIS

  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of local and international storm water regulations

  • Familiarity with sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS)

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
