Job Description
Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead technical excellence and ensure high-quality service delivery across an operating unit.
The ideal candidate will contribute to and execute the implementation of the strategic vision. Establishes operational objectives and work plans for an Operating Unit, delegating assignments to subordinate managers.
Role and Responsibilities
Develops, modifies, and executes company policies that impact immediate operations and may have company-wide implications.
Analyzes complex issues or data, requiring a deep understanding of organizational objectives.
Implements strategic policies to guide the selection of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
Oversees project administration throughout the construction cycle, including technical quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Manages daily development, coordination, and execution of activities for assigned personnel.
Collaborates closely with the wider regional team as an integral member.
Focuses on cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients of local significance.
Contributes to and influences AECOM’s strategic direction; communicates and gains buy-in across the business.
Assists in defining the strategic focus areas for senior leadership and market sectors.
Supports the development of the regional business’s financial plan.
Holds accountability for the financial performance of a business segment, including full P&L responsibility.
Fosters a strong talent management culture, identifying and developing high-potential individuals.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum 20 years post-undergraduate experience
Bachelor of Science in Economics, Management, Planning + Development, Strategy, Information Technology, Asset Management, Real Estate Investment + Finance, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management, Facilities Management or Quantity Surveying disciplines (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized Institute or University. RICS, IAM and CIoB or equivalent accreditation.
