Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our organization's financial success and commercial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international business environment.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize profitability and business growth
Manage contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align commercial objectives with overall business goals
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on commercial performance to senior management
Identify and mitigate commercial risks through effective risk management strategies
Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial management, finance, or a related field
At least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or relevant commercial certifications are highly desirable
Strong knowledge of financial systems, commercial regulations, and contract law
Proven experience in contract management and commercial operations
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures
Proficiency in financial analysis tools and advanced Excel skills
Strong understanding of business strategy and market trends
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
Experience working in an international business environment is a plus
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages relevant to the region is advantageous
