Job Description
AECOM are seeking for an Associate Director to oversee the quality and financial success of portfolio of projects/client accounts.
Desired Skills
Experienced cost management professional with minimum 20 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East.
Ideally involved in both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 10.
Experience in a range of asset types including High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality.
Experience in management and assessment of claims, and strong contract administration skills (FIDIC) for both consultants and contractors.
Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 500 million.
Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction.
Ability to provide advisory on procurement and phasing strategies, consultant appointments, contractor selection, support feasibility studies, pre-contract estimating including design to budget responsibilities and see through the post-contract phase with contracts close-out.
Assists in Business Development, securing new work for the business.
Accountable for P&L of projects undertaken and internal reporting on financials to the business.
Establish new and grow existing relationships with clients across the industry.
Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on large-scale projects.
Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector.
Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood.
Manages the resources across several large-scale or a portfolio of projects, all within the established budgets.
Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with.
Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting.
Supervises and mentors more junior members of staff to enable their development, assisting with the graduate development programme where appropriate.
Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field.
Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS)
Experience
Minimum 15 years post graduate
Minimum 5 years in the Middle East
