AECOM is currently seeking to hire Stakeholder Coordinator to be based at Doha.
AECOM are offering a great opportunity to join our growing and talented Buildings team in our multi-disciplinary office in Doha.
You will join a busy design team in the Buildings division of AECOM and the varied workload currently includes residential, transport, industrial and mixed use projects.
The Stakeholder Coordinator will be responsible for securing the necessary stakeholders and authority approvals for the various multidiscipline projects.
Undertakes duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Develops professional Stakeholder relationships as a face of AECOM.
Maintains the implementation of the stakeholder(s) management register and updates as required.
Represents the Client / AECOM’s interests on all matters related to permitting & approvals for projects.
Good knowledge of Qatar’s planning processes required to coordinate with the Authorities and government entities for clarifications, justifications and permitting by statutory authorities.
Supports and facilitates design managers & directors with the overall permitting process to secure required Approvals, NOCs and Permits for the projects.
Ensures managers deliver required documents on schedule and in accordance with Authorities’ requirements, guidelines & standard specification.
Liaises and coordinates with Government authorities regarding project submissions, revisions, clarifications, approvals, justifications and approvals by statutory authorities.
Understands and knows how to deal with authorities programs, systems & online procedures.
Monitors projects progress. Notifies the client of any potential risks in the permitting process that could impact the schedule and update status via dashboards periodically.
Specific Skills Required:
A good technical understanding of architectural and engineering design requirements.
Ability to speak fluently and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations.
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Minimum 5 Years professional experience.
Proven related Authority approvals experience.
Minimum five (5) years relevant experience.
Middle East experience would be essential
A Bachelor's degree in a related subject.
