AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the
EAGLE contract for a
Supply Technician-RH . Orders, receives, inventory, stores, maintains and issues supplies and equipment to support daily Operations. Process transactions in accordance with Army Supply policy using Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army) or manual systems. Maintains asset visibility using GCSS-Army. Maintains records and historical files and manages Hand Receipts in accordance with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Maintain a consistent data integrity rate of 100% of all transactions conducted. Performs document register reconciliations as required. Assists in ensuring contract provisions are met. Coordinates with outside resources to maintain sustainment operations. Researches and resolves inventory and/or system problems. Generates daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by department. Serves as part of a mobile property accountability team whose function is to establish accountability for various units throughout the AOR. Verifies part numbers, general quantity or condition, and label or data plate information. Performs general equipment inspection and prepare necessary documentation (automated and manual) to account for property through hand-receipt holder level. Duties may vary contingent on assigned department. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Performs other duties as assigned.
Active Secret / Tier 3
Certification & License
GCSS-Army Certification required for US Citizens
Valid driver’s license required
Associates Degree is preferred
Must have 2-4 years of property book experience.
US Army 92Y or 92A preferred
Must possess knowledge and experience in the use of GCSS-Army, and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW)
Must possess knowledge in the use of technical manuals (TMs), Supply Catalogs (SCs), Component HandReceipts and Shortage Annexes Knowledge
Must have experience with performing the following functions: Maintaining Unit hand receipts, perform asset adjustments, lateral transfers and update authorizations on the property book. Request equipment items, follow-up and cancel supply transactions. Post supply status and receipt information to the activity register. Create and print hand receipts, activity register and property book reports.
Must have familiarization with AR 735-5, AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1g) Must possess a strong understanding of DA and DD Forms
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.
Knowledge/experience with Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) and Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army).
Must possess the ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.
Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.
Must possess the ability to work well under pressure and around tight deadlines.
Must have organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint) and other software programs to assist with special projects, process business unit invoices, and other compliance programs.
- US Army 92A or 92Y preferred.
