Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity as a

Specialist Supply in Afghanistan on the Eagle Contract. Assist in the receipt, storage, documentation, processing and delivery of all expendable and durable supplies and materials. Interacts with a variety of departments and various customer contacts to ensure accurate and timely processing and record keeping. Conducts scheduled inventories IAW PWS of supplies, materials and property. Assists in the receipt, posting, storage, delivery, disposition and management of supply IAW applicable Army regulations. Creates and prepares labels for shipping using multi-pack boxes, wooden skid and 463L pallets with netting. Ensures proper documentation accompanies shipment and shipment is sealed with tamper proof seal. Loads and unloads trucks, prepare labels, signs and packing slips. Operates 5 Ton truck or below for delivering or picking up loose pieces of cargo for delivery to and from the A/DACG, SSA, DRMO or other destinations as identified. Receives cargo from the A/DACG, FED-EX, UPS, DHL, FITIP and SSA. Assists with supporting SSAs for requisitioning and turn-in actions. Operates MHE from 2K through 12K. Conducts PMCS and operator maintenance on equipment and vehicles assigned to the section. Process and manage excess, recoverable and reparable supplies, materials and property using GCSS-A. Ensures all receiving and shipping documents are maintained IAW PWS and regulations. Determines method and mode of shipment to customer requirements. Prepares and expedites shipments. Prepares all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner. Posts weights and shipping charges. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit (RMA). Ensures appropriate adjustment action and documentation is processed for shipment/receiving discrepancies and lost, damaged or destroyed action is initiated and properly submitted. Utilize FEDLOG, AMDF and GCSS-Army to research information for required parts requests. Follows work site and vehicle safety directives, procedures and rules. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. US Expat personnel must be able to operate the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) within 30 day on contract to perform their warehouse duties. Duties may vary depending on department. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply, inventory management, warehouse or related field required.

  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.

  • NACI / Tier 1 for US Citizens and PCC for Non US Citizens

  • Valid Driver’s license required.

  • Must be able to obtain a 5984-E Army Standard license to operate all types of MHE up to a 10K forklift.

  • Knowledge of the Army retail supply system, technical supply operations, and established policies.

  • Must have strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and other related applications.

  • Must have the English language speaking ability to satisfy routine social demands and limited work requirements. Must be able to read simple prose in a form equivalent to typescript or printing on subjects within a familiar context.

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Army 92A or 92Y preferred.

  • SAMS-E and AWRDS experience strongly preferred.

  • Forklift and MHE experience preferred.
