Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our company's document control systems, ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and timely distribution of critical information.

  • Maintain and optimize established data distribution systems and schedules based on client, project, and supplier requirements

  • Revise systems or schedules as needed to ensure timely approvals and document distribution

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure document edits are made, proofed, and implemented in a timely manner

  • Track and maintain accurate records of all documents within the organization

  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all forms of documentation

  • Implement and follow company quality assurance program procedures

  • Ensure all completed documents are signed off by appropriate personnel before distribution

  • Distribute copies of documents to relevant team members and stakeholders

  • Manage the document production process, including making copies of drawings and other materials as needed

  • Continuously improve document control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in document control or a similar role within a corporate environment

  • Proficiency in document control systems and data distribution systems

  • Strong knowledge of document tracking and production systems

  • Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and standardized document management processes

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
