Job Description

AECOM's Architecture + Interiors practice is currently seeking an Assistant Design Manager, to join our team. In this role, you will support the Design and Project Managers in overseeing projects, managing team members, and ensuring the successful execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions

  • Support the Design Manager in leading and mentoring junior design team members

  • Review and approve design deliverables to maintain quality standards

  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met

  • Contribute to the development of design strategies and methodologies

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into design processes

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internal teams

  • Assist in resource allocation and workload management for design projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in design management or a related role
